About ReONS 2026

The Research Officers National Symposium (ReONS) 2026 marks the third chapter of a growing tradition that began in 2022, bringing together research officers from across Malaysia for a meaningful exchange of ideas, experiences, and inspiration. This year's theme, "Frontiers of Research: Connecting Minds, Creating Impact", is all about sparking collaboration and making research matter—within our communities and beyond.

For the first time, the symposium opens its doors to science officers and postgraduate researchers from all Malaysian Research Universities, expanding the conversation and enriching the experience with fresh perspectives and emerging voices.

ReONS 2026 isn't just about presenting findings; it's about building bridges. Whether you're exploring new technologies, tackling social challenges, or simply curious about what others are working on, this event offers a space to connect with fellow researchers who share your passion for discovery and progress.

Expect lively discussions, hands-on workshops, and stories that remind us why research is more than just data—it's about people, purpose, and the power to make a difference.

About MROS

The Malaysian University Research Officer Society (MROS) is a society registered with the Registry of Societies Malaysia that serves as a platform for research officers in Malaysian universities to connect, share best practices, and advance their professional capabilities.

MROS community comprises research officers from Malaysian research universities.
